Strong funding round shows keen investor interest in security sector

HACH Private Capital and Daltrey today announced there was strong investor interest, leading to significant oversubscription on their recent capital raise. Daltrey see this as validating their belief in the need for an identity offering that allows organisations to integrate biometrics as a viable, scalable security solution.

“Governments and private enterprise alike are facing increased pressure to create more robust security frameworks, further heightened by recent increases in remote work, BYOD practices and cyber security attacks on Australian soil,” says Daltrey Chairman and Co-Founder Craig Hodges.

“Daltrey’s unique approach to identity management is exciting, disruptive and, most importantly, is ready at a time when organisations are in real need of a modernised identity solution.”

HACH Private Capital managed Daltrey’s current capital raising, representing a substantial uplift in value for shareholders.

“Daltrey’s share register includes strategic cornerstone investors and industry participants who understand the security space and the attractiveness of Daltrey’s global proposition,” says HACH Chief Executive Office and Co-Founder Fergus Herbert.

“We’re excited about the strength of our ongoing partnership and look forward to seeing further appreciation of value for Shareholders as Daltrey continues to execute on its business plan.”

Daltrey has secured clients within just months of product launch, including an award-winning Australian cloud transformation and security consultancy and a multi-national biometric partner.

“This capital raise represents a significant milestone for Daltrey and puts us in an excellent position to solve ongoing challenges for government and private enterprise, across both physical and digital security,” says Hodges.

“Daltrey is responding to significant demand as a result of recent cyber attacks and new security challenges brought on by COVID 19. As such we are well positioned to capitalise on a growing pipeline of client projects.”
